Description
Summary:
Manages complex and multi-unit web projects. Provides advanced web skills in the areas of interface design, accessibility, utilization and application integration.
Job Duties:
1. Develops layout of assigned web pages, using graphics software specifically designed for publishing on the Web.
2. Creates and edits graphics for web and print.
3. Assists with quality and usability testing of web pages to ensure compliance with standards.
4. Coordinates project scope, timelines, and specifications with Manager of Interactive Services
5. Reviews progress of project, manages resources and ensures overall quality of completed websites.
6. Collaborates with programmers, database administrators and application developers to integrate and manage web content and services.
7. Provides expertise in web design to develop the accessibility, functionality and enhance the design of web sites.
8. May administer a microcomputer based Web server
9. Researches, evaluates and recommends new technologies.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
