But after two years of painfully uninspiring pre-law undergrad at Drake University, she flipped a 180, landed in an advertising and graphic design major, and consequently never skipped a class again. After a post-grad stint at Miami Ad School in Minneapolis, Anna was tossed into the deep end with the creative sharks at Fallon as an art director intern in 2002. With the choice of whether to sink or swim, she decided that drowning was an unpleasant way to go. Over time, the lines between art director and writer began to blur, and while she now spends more time wielding words than Wingdings, her foundation in graphic design and art direction is always lurking in the shadows. But not in a creepy way. Born and raised Fallon, Anna has worked on the likes of Citibank, United Airlines, Nordstrom, NYSE/Arca, Subway, St. Paul Travelers, Vanguard Rental Cars, BMW, and whatever else lands on her desk. Anna enjoys hoarding music, customizing sneakers, and reading everything in sight. She also gets a kick out of talking to strangers, much to her parents' dismay. ![]() Amy Whitehouse A wise man once said, "You'll know when you meet someone from Texas, because they'll tell you in the first five minutes." Amy Whitehouse, make no mistake, is from Texas. Though her accent's fading from living in New York, she's kept hold of another uniquely Texan trait: an ease with people. Which will be unmistakably clear when you see her portraits; they're natural, they're real, they're relaxed. Except when they're not. Check out her photos of musicians. Then words like charged, powerful and connection come to mind. She may claim to be captivated by New York City, but her style clearly proves you can take the girl out of Texas. Clients include Domino Records, 859 Recordings, Spin Magazine, spin.com, Intersection Magazine, Red Bull, Flavorpill, Pollstar Magazine, pollstar.com, pitchfork.com, D-Mode Magazine, Venus Magazine, Jane Magazine. |
